Are they any products out to make a celling fan’s blades safe for pet birds?

Question by Please add my new acount (check my profile): Are they any products out to make a celling fan’s blades safe for pet birds?
I have two cocktails and they fly freely in my bedroom. Right now they parch on my celling fan but this summer I am going have to run it and I am worried they may fly into it and I can’t keep them cages the hold time it’s hot. Are they any products out to make a celling fan’s blades safe for pet birds?

There isn’t any way to make a ceiling fan safe for birds- aside from keeping it turned off when your pets are out. Have you considered getting standing fans with the protective grates/covers?

make a cover with chicken wire jut bend it and in a square shape and use zip ties to connect it

Yes…………..your finger on the switch turning the ceiling fan OFF.
Try using a different and safer air cooler or fan in your room instead of the ceiling fan.
The only safe ceiling fan with birds in the room is one that is OFF.
