After till right now he has learned a few tricks like flying back to the cage when you want him to. At times he also likes getting on your finger. -

Adopting is a huge joke, no rescue centers will re-home a bird with out drafting you with some huge re-homing fee, I was better off buying my little cocktail from a breeder.

@landedasteroid9 zebra finches, but they are not the type that you can just hold or take it out of the cage or pet it, they are small but active and they are messy and they always like company so buy them in pairs. but nevertheless quiet. i have two at home.

@ViridianGym well you might need to leash it onto your arm or clip its wings if you are going out of your house with it(clipping wont always work since birds can still run or catch breezes) and to train it to stay on your shoulder isn’t that hard just let it walk up your arm(as long as its talons are trimmed) then you let it find a comfy spot.beware bird may scream in your ear or poop on you!!!
